I offer specialist tutoring and provide prescriptive reading, writing, spelling and handwriting instruction incorporating the Orton Gilligham Multi-sensory Structured Language (MSL) approach.
Tutoring sessions are designed to teach strategies and techniques to build and improve your child’s literacy skills while boosting your child’s confidence.
My sessions involve a Multi –sensory Structured Language (MSL) approach which is a way of teaching more than one sense at a time. For children with reading issues like Dyslexia the use of sight, hearing, movement and touch are attributed to better learning outcomes and makes learning fun and hands-on. Each session is individually tailored specifically to meet your child’s needs.
I provide students with weekly take home recorded books so they can listen and follow along giving them a chance to continue the skills we are learning at home.
Tutoring sessions are offered subject to availability.
